New Delhi: Sara Ali Khan and Vicky Kaushal are actively promoting their upcoming film ‘Zara Bachke Zara Hatke’. The actors have been on a rigorous tour across the country to promote their upcoming film. On Tuesday, pictures of Sara and Vicky from their visit to Lucknow began doing the rounds on social media and on Wednesday, Sara Ali Khan seemed to have offered morning prayers at Mahakaleshwar Temple in Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain district.
Sara Ali Khan was spotted at Mahakaleshwar Temple in Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain district on Wednesday morning. The actor participated in the ‘Bhasma Aarti’ there which is a famour ritual there. The aarti is performing during the Brahma Muhurta between 4 and 5:30 am in the morning.
Sara even struck true to tradition by donning a pink coloured saree as is mandatory for women to wear sarees during the Bhasma Aarti. As per media reports, Sara sat in the Nandihal of the temple and performed the prayers. Sara also performed Jalabhiskeh inside the sanctum.
Sara Ali Khan has also visited the Mahakal temple on many previous occasions, and more so especially during her film promotions. So much is Sara’s devotion attached to the place that a priest of the temple Sanjar Guru told news agency ANI, “Sara Ali Khan has unwavering faith in Baba Mahakal. Therefore she often visits here.”
As for Sara and Vicky’s visit to Lucknow, Sara shared pictures about the same on her official Instagram handle from the occasion.
Sara shared a picture of herself and Vicky from inspide a temple in Lucknow. Sara wore a white salwar kameez and was clicked in folded palms lookiing ahead while Vicky wore a brown T-Shirt and black pants. Sara shared the picture on Instagram with a caption that read, “Jai Bholenath (folded palms emoticon)”
Earlier on Tuesday morning morning, Vicky had shared a video on his Instagram Stories and captioned it, “Neend hui nahi hai poori, aapse milna hai zaroori…Nawaabo ke sheher hain hum aa rahe, Iss Friday movie jo hum laa rahe.” (Sleep remains incomplete but meeting all of you is more important… Here we come to the city of Nawaabs, to bring you our movie this Friday.) In the video beside Vicky, Sara was seen sitting with an eye mask on her face to get some sleep on the way.
‘Zara Bachke Zara Hatke’ will see Vicky and Sara pair up for the first time. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film is slated to be released on June 2, 2023.
