Samsung on Wednesday (January 17) officially unveiled the flagship Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 smartphones. The new smartphones bet big on artificial intelligence (AI). According to the South Korean tech giant, AI amplifies nearly every experience on the new Galaxy S24 series, from enabling barrier-free communication with intelligent text and call translations, to maximising creative freedom with “Galaxy’s ProVisual Engine”, to setting a new standard for search.
The lineup has been launched globally, including in India, and comprises three models: standard, Plus and Ultra, each tailored to cater to diverse user needs and priced accordingly. The Galaxy S24 Ultra, as expected is the most premium variant, and comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, while the other models house an Exynos chipset, as widely expected. Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Prices
The Samsung Galaxy S24 is priced at $799.99 (roughly Rs 66,538), while the Galaxy S24+ comes at a price of $999.99 (around Rs 83,173). The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra boasts a 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display and runs Qualcomm’s top-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. With storage options reaching up to 1TB and 12GB of RAM, the phone promises to deliver robust performance. It has a quad rear camera system including a 200-megapixel primary camera a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and a 10-megapixel telephoto sensor supporting 3x optical zoom. The phone supports 100x digital zoom and the first one from Samsung to feature a titanium frame similar to the iPhone 15 Pro models, along with a 5,000mAh battery. The galaxy S24 Ultra has been launched in four colours: Titanium Gray, Titanium Black, Titanium Violet and Titanium Yellow.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 comes with a 6.2-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Running on Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2400 chipset, it offers storage options up to 256GB. Its triple rear camera system comprises a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera, and a 10-megapixel telephoto sensor supporting 3x optical zoom with 30x digital zoom. The device is powered by a 4,000mAh battery. The Galaxy Galaxy S24 comes in Onyx Black, Marble Gray, Cobalt Violet and Amber Yellow colours.

The Galaxy S24+, positioned as the middle variant in the S24 series, features a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels and a flexible refresh rate between 1Hz and 120Hz. Powered by the Exynos 2400 chipset, similar to the vanilla model, it offers storage options up to 512GB. Equipped with the same triple rear camera system as the Galaxy S24, it houses a 4,900mAh battery unit. The Galaxy Galaxy S24+ also comes in Onyx Black, Marble Gray, Cobalt Violet and Amber Yellow colours.
