Olympian Sushil Pehalwan is out on bail for Sagar’s murder. The family is being pressurized to save him. If relatives are to be believed, 3-4 days back a contractor entered the house along with other miscreants and threatened them. Some youths were also in police dress. Charges have been framed against Sushil Pahalwan in the court.

Please tell that on the night of 4-5 May 2021, Olympian Sushil Kumar had reached Delhi’s Chhatrasal Stadium with some of his colleagues. He beat Sagar badly with a stick. Sagar later died in the hospital. The video of Sushil Kumar beating Sagar went viral. 17 days later, on 23 May, Sushil Kumar was arrested by the Special Cell of Delhi Police. Charges of murder, attempt to murder and criminal conspiracy have been framed against Olympic medalist wrestler Sushil Kumar, international wrestler Anirudh Dahiya and 16 others.

Sagar Dhankhar was a resident of Sonipat, Haryana. His father Ashok is in Delhi Police. The days when he was murdered, he lived in Sushil’s flat. Chhatrasal used to practice with other wrestlers in the stadium itself. It was alleged that Sagar had not paid the rent of Rs 40,000 for the flat. This made Sushil Kumar angry. At the same time, it was also said that Sushil was not happy to see Sagar progressing in wrestling. His power was being challenged at Chhatrasal Stadium.

Now the family is getting threats

Ashok Dhankhar, father of late wrestler Sagar Dhankhar, says that he had gone to Delhi Balaji Hospital for his health checkup. In the meantime, some policemen and Amit Rolad reached his house and threatened his wife Savita to agree to get Sushil Pahalwan out, otherwise the witness would also be implicated.
