Murder charges have been framed against Olympian Sushil Kumar alongside 17 others by Delhi Court for murder, rioting, unlawful assembly, and other sections in the junior wrestler Sagar Dhankar’s murder case.

Sushil Kumar is facing allegations of involvement in the murder of a former international wrestler Sagar Rana. He died, while two of his friends got injured, after they were allegedly assaulted by Sushil Kumar and other wrestlers on May 4 night, at the Chhatrasal Stadium premises in Delhi. After a preliminary investigation, Police stated that the brawl involved Kumar, Ajay, Prince Dalal, Sonu, Sagar, Amit, and others. Dalal, a resident of Jhajjar in Haryana, was held in the case.
