Russia declares war on 4 Ukrainian cities, including Kiev, Kharkiv, Sumi

Russia declares ceasefire in Ukraine A ceasefire has been declared so that ordinary people can leave the city.

Russia finally declared a ceasefire. Ceasefire has been declared in Kiev, Kharkiv, Mariupol and Sumi. Fighting has been going on in all the four cities for the last few days. Russia was bombing and shelling.

There were allegations from various quarters that Russia was not even giving ordinary people a chance to escape. Not only that, there are many students still stuck in Sumi, including many Indians. As a result, Russia was repeatedly asked by India to build a safe passage for students there. Russia finally agreed. Ceasefire has been declared in all four cities. Ordinary people have been told to leave quickly.

Ukraine’s military, however, has said it fears Russia will invade Kiev with a final force once the ceasefire is over. But Ukraine has also claimed that it is ready to resist.

Moscow said on Monday that a ceasefire would be observed from 10 a.m. Russian time. Ordinary people can go to safe haven in it. Russia’s Interfax news agency claims that the move was made at the request of French President Macron.

Earlier, a ceasefire was also mentioned on Saturday. But Ukraine claims Russia has not complied. On the other hand, the representatives of Russia and Ukraine are scheduled to sit in talks today. Earlier, they had held talks but the meeting was not fruitful.
