Today is the 8th day of the winter session of the Parliament. On Friday too, the Congress created a ruckus in the India-China issue. In the Rajya Sabha, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge alleged that the opposition was not even given a chance to speak in the Tawang case. He said that we want the Prime Minister to come and answer on this issue in Parliament.

In view of the uproar, the Rajya Sabha proceedings have been adjourned till 12 noon.

Manish Tiwari demanded discussion in Tawang case
Congress MP Manish Tewari gave an adjournment motion in the Lok Sabha. He said that it is necessary to talk about the Tawang clash in Parliament. Manish said that the people of the country have the right to know the status of the Indo-China border. The Defense Minister has not discussed this in detail.

Rajnath said on Tuesday that on December 9, 2022, Chinese soldiers violated the LAC in Tawang and broke the rules. The Indian Army stopped the PLA from encroaching. He was forced to go to his post. In this incident, some soldiers from both sides have also suffered injuries. None of our soldiers have died or been seriously injured. We intervened in time. Because of this the Chinese soldiers went back.

Swati Maliwal demanded to raise the issue of women’s safety
Delhi Women’s Commission Chairperson Swati Maliwal has spoken of raising the issue of women’s safety in Parliament. For this, he has written a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar. He said that the Nirbhaya gangrape case has completed 10 years today. Nothing has changed in all these years till date. Swati further said that women’s safety should be discussed in Parliament today.

Nirbhaya was raped by 6 accused in Delhi on the night of 16 December 2012. In this, one of the accused had committed suicide in jail, the other was a minor, so he was released after three years. The remaining four accused were hanged on March 20.

Government and opposition united in the case of global warming
Global warming was discussed in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday. The government and the opposition appeared united in this matter. On Tuesday, the issue of death due to spurious liquor in Chhapra district of Bihar echoed in the Lok Sabha as well. BJP MPs surrounded the Nitish government and said that the Bihar government is conducting mass murders. BJP MP Sanjay Jaiswal said that Nitish is saying that whoever drinks will die, but he gives tickets to those who sell liquor.

He said that Nitish government is responsible for these deaths. On one hand people are dying, on the other hand Nitish Kumar is losing his temper in the assembly.

MBBS seat increased – Mandaviya

This session of Parliament is going to last for 17 days. During this, the government will present 16 bills in the Parliament. On the first day, where the Wildlife Protection (Amendment) Bill 2022 was discussed in the Rajya Sabha, while the demand for bringing population control law arose in the Lok Sabha. The first day of the 258th session of Rajya Sabha was also special for Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, who was his first day of action as Rajya Sabha Speaker.
