RRB Recruitment 2024: 9,000 Vacancies Of Technicians Announced; Application To Begin Next Month

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released a brief notice regarding the recruitment of various Technician vacancies. The notice states that 9000 technician vacancies will be filled within the department. A comprehensive notification will be issued in February with online registrations commencing in March or April 2024. The application process will be exclusively conducted online through the official websites of the respective RRBs. Upon release of the notification, interested candidates can apply for the RRB technician recruitment drive through the designated online portals.

The RRB has announced an extensive array of vacancies across 21 railway boards. Zone-wise vacancies will be updated at a later time.

Here are the key event dates for the RRB Technician recruitment:

  • RRB Technician detailed notification: February 2024
  • RRB Technician online application begins: March-April 2024
  • RRB Technician online application ends: March-April 2024
  • RRB Technician Exam Date: Scheduled between October and December 2024
  • Shortlist for Document Verification: February 2025

To qualify for the RRB technician recruitment, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set forth by the recruitment board.

Simultaneously, the RRB Assistant Loco Pilots (ALPs) application process is underway. The recruitment aims to occupy 5,696 vacancies within the RRB ALP department. Eligible candidates, aged between 18 and 28 years, possessing Class 10 pass certificates along with ITI and diploma qualifications, are invited to apply for RRB ALP recruitment 2024. The deadline for the online application process is February 19, 2024.
