The police also seized a huge quantity of weapons including 2.7 kg of gold, 27.30 kg of silver and Rs 43 thousand 120 cash from the shop. Police have recovered more gold and silver jewellery. So far, 40 kg of silver and gold jewelery have also been recovered from the robbers.

While investigating the loot of crores in Shri Krishna Jewelers in Vaishali on June 2, the police reached the accused. After this the police revealed the entire racket. The robbers had opened a shop in Samastipur a month and a half ago to sell the looted goods from here.

The plan of robbery was made after getting out of jail
SP Manish told that the conspiracy for this robbery was hatched in Samastipur. Chandan Sonar, who was absconding in many cases including bank robbery, had prepared a plan after coming out of jail in one case. It was Chandan Sonar who prepared the plan and gave information about Shri Krishna Jewelers located at Patepur Road in Mahua. He played the main role in this robbery case. The SP said that to carry out this robbery, recce was done several times in the month of May.
