Senior leader Prem Singh Chandumajra did not attend the core committee meeting of SAD yesterday. Now he raised questions on placing the report of the Jhunda committee directly in the core committee. He said that earlier it should have been sent to the review committee.

Earlier, MLA Manpreet Ayali had shown rebellious attitude. Despite the party’s support, he did not vote for the BJP-backed NDA candidate Draupadi Murmu. He boycotted the presidential election.

Iqbal Jhunda and Balwinder Bhundar had informed about the core committee meeting.

Iqbal Jhunda and Balwinder Bhundar had informed about the core committee meeting.

Pradhan himself had asked for discussion in the review committee: Chandumajra
Professor Chandumajra said that Pramukh Sukhbir Badal had asked Committee Convenor Balwinder Bhundar to hold a review committee meeting. Consider the report of the Jhunda Committee therein. Then make a joint opinion and bring it to the core committee. Despite this, the report was placed directly in the core committee. I haven’t even read the report. I don’t know why the report was sent there directly. Yesterday some relatives of my near and dear ones had bhog, so I needed to go there for bhog, so I could not come to the meeting.

Jhunda Committee gave 42 suggestions, no proposal to remove Sukhbir
The Akali Dal has formed a 13-member committee to find out the reason for the electoral defeat. This committee was formed under the leadership of senior leader Iqbal Singh Jhunda. This committee submitted its report in the meeting of the core committee held in Chandigarh yesterday. On which the brainstorming took about 5 hours. After this, senior leader Balwinder Bhundar said that the Jhuda Committee gave 42 suggestions. which have been accepted. There is no suggestion to change the leadership i.e. remove Sukhbir Badal from the post of head.

Full advice was taken on the report from Chandumajra: Valtoha
Akali leader Virsa Singh Valtoha said that Professor Chandumajra’s advice has been taken on every word in the report. At the same time, he had already told before the core committee meeting that he cannot come to the meeting today. He also told the whole thing. At the same time yesterday, there were the same members in the core committee, who were kept in the review committee.
