In Gurugram, adjacent to Delhi, a retired woman IAS officer found it expensive to get liquor online. He had ordered liquor online from a website, but the thugs took away Rs 2 lakh from his account. Police have registered a case and started investigation.

Sushant Lok resident Zohra Chatterjee told that on July 23, there was a party in her house and she was busy preparing for it. He placed an online order for liquor on the website jagdishwineshopgurgaon.com at around 6 pm. After that he got a call.

Zohra told that she was in a hurry as it was time for the guests to arrive. Because of this, he trusted the caller and also shared the credit card number, one-time password i.e. OTP. After this he got an SMS that ₹ 630 has been debited from his card, but later the message came that ₹ 1,92,477.50 has been debited from the card.

Many other people also became victims of fraud
Police said that many people have been cheated even before this website. On August 1, Gurugram police had nabbed three members of a gang who had duped a man of more than ₹1 lakh in the name of delivering liquor at his home.

Police said- the accused will be caught as soon as possible
Cyber ​​Crime Police Station (East) SHO Bijendra Kumar said on the complaint of a retired woman IAS officer that the mobile number used in the fraud is being investigated. Police have registered a case under sections 419 (cheating by impersonation), 420 (cheating) and 66-D. The accused will be caught at the earliest.
