Responding to Sanjay Raut, who came out of jail: Said- the state government took good decisions; Will also meet PM-Home Minister

Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut’s attitude changed after coming out of Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai. Talking to the media on Thursday, Sanjay Raut praised the work of the new government in Maharashtra. During this, he also expressed his desire to meet the Prime Minister and the Home Minister. Raut said- I will go to Delhi and will also meet the Prime Minister and the Home Minister. Sanjay Raut got bail after 102 days from PMLA court in Mumbai in Patra Chawl scam case.

The state government took some good decisions- Sanjay Raut
In Mumbai, Sanjay Raut said that a new government has been formed in Maharashtra. The government has taken some good decisions, I will welcome them. He said that we feel that the state is being run by Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis and he is leading the state. Sanjay Raut told that he will go to meet former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Sharad Pawar today. Sharad Pawar has called him by phone. He also said that in a few days, Devendra will also meet Fadnavis.

Sanjay Raut said – I do not complain to anyone
MP Sanjay Raut further said – If those who had hatched this conspiracy, if they would have got pleasure, then I am their partner in it. I have no complaints against anyone. I will not blame the entire system or any central agency. We have never seen such political vendetta till date.

Will be hospitalized after meeting Uddhav
Sanjay Raut’s brother Sunil Raut and his legal team reached Arthur Road Jail with a copy of the bail order received from the sessions court at five o’clock on Wednesday evening. He got the paperwork done. Sunil Raut told that Sanjay’s health is not well. As soon as he is released from jail, he will meet Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray and go to a couple of places. After that he will be admitted to the hospital.

ED challenges bail decision in High Court
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has challenged Raut’s bail decision in the Bombay High Court. Justice Bharti Dangre will hear it. The court had refused to stay the order of release immediately. The court said- Sessions court has taken a month to decide, so how can you expect us to decide in a day.

Shiv Sena MP was arrested on July 31
The ED had arrested Raut on July 31. Earlier, there was questioning for 9 hours. Raut was also questioned by the ED on June 28. During the search of his house, ED found Rs 11.5 lakh in cash. Raut or his family members could not tell the source of this money. Sanjay is accused of 1,039 crore Patra Chawl land scam.

What is Patra Chawl scam?
Siddharth Nagar is located in Goregaon, North Mumbai, it is popularly known as Patra Chawl. There are 672 houses in 47 acres here. In 2008, the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) started the redevelopment project and awarded the contract to rehabilitate 672 tenants and redevelop the area to Guru Ashish Construction Private Limited (GACPL).

GACPL was to give flats to 672 tenants of Patra Chawl, 3,000 flats for MHADA and sell the rest to private developers. However, the ED claims that Sanjay Raut’s close aide Praveen Raut and other directors of Guru Ashish Construction misled MHADA.
