By eliminating subsidy on LPG cylinders, the central government saved Rs 11,654 crore in a year. During this, the cylinder became costlier by Rs 218. In 2020-21, the government had given a subsidy of Rs 11,896 crore. In 2021-22, it came down to just 242 crores. In 2018-19, this amount was Rs 37,209 crore. From June 2020, only Ujjwala scheme people are getting a subsidy of Rs 200 per cylinder.

Dipesh had fallen while playing cricket on Saturday morning. Earlier, he had also worked out in the gym. The cause of his death is stated to be a brain hemorrhage. Dipesh, 41, is survived by his wife and one-year-old son.
