A shocking case has come to light from Mathura in Uttar Pradesh. Here the police released a report in the court, in which it was said that rats ate 586 kg of hemp kept in the police station. Police said 586 kg of ganja was seized in two separate cases under the Narcotics Drugs Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. The report was presented in the court of ADJ VII. Ganja was eaten by rats, the court asked to present its evidence by 26 November. Apart from this, the court also ordered to deal with the problem of rats. The court asked the SSP to take necessary steps to control the rats.

Hemp was seized in 2018
According to reports, in 2018, the police had recovered a huge amount of ganja from Shergarh and Highway. It was kept in a godown of the police station. According to the police, the little ganja that was left got spoiled due to soaking in water. The rats gnawed the sack which had got wet in the rain water.

According to the police, some ganja is still kept. During this, the police expressed their helplessness in presenting the seized ganja in the court and also presented the ganja as evidence.
