Rashmika Mandanna has revealed she and Vijay Deverakonda are considering starring in a new film together. The actors, who are rumoured to be dating for a while now, are one of the most popular on screen jodi in the Telugu film industry. Rashmika and Vijay have starred in Geetha Govindam and Dead Comrade together. In a recent interview, Rashmika confirmed that she and Vijay are ready to work together on screen. However, they’ve not found the right script yet. She revealed they are looking at scripts together and are waiting for the right story to come along.
“We’re definitely looking for a script together. It’s been long, and I can see that fans are waiting for our collaboration next time. And if something really interesting comes up, definitely,” she said in a chat with Pinkvilla. While fans are eager for them to reunite on the big screen, the rumoured couple was recently subjected to marriage rumours.
It was claimed that Rashmika and Vijay would get engaged in February and likely to tie the knot soon. However, Vijay shut down the claims. “I have no plans to get engaged or married in February. It seems like the media is constantly trying to push the narrative of me getting married every two years. I hear this rumor every year. It’s as if they are just waiting to catch me and force me into marriage,” he told Lifestyle Asia.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Rashmika has a packed schedule. The actress, who is in Japan for the Crunchyroll Awards, will be seen in Pushpa 2. She reunites with Allu Arjun for the film. She also has Rainbow, another Telugu film that she has been working on. She also shared The Girlfriend with Rahul Ravindran. The film was announced last year with an eerie video.
Back in Bollywood, Rashmika has Chaava in the making. The actress stars with Vicky Kaushal in her fourth Bollywood film.
