A rape case will be filed against senior BJP leader Syed Shahnawaz Hussain. On Monday, the Supreme Court dismissed his petition challenging the Delhi High Court order. The case was heard in the bench of Justice S. Ravindra Bhatt and Justice Dipankar Dutta. The Supreme Court said that the matter should be properly investigated. In this case, Shahnawaz Hussain’s side was presented by Supreme Court’s senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi and Siddharth Luther. During this, he said that the police is investigating on the complaint of the woman. Nothing has been found in the initial investigation. A series of complaints were continuously launched against Shahnawaz Hussain to malign his image. To this, the court said that it did not see any reason to interfere in the matter.

In the year 2018, a woman from Delhi filed a case against Shahnawaz Hussain in Delhi court. In this, he said that in April 2018, Shahnawaz Hussain called him to the farm house in Chhatarpur. After this, the cold drink mixed with intoxicants was fed. Raped her in a state of unconsciousness.
However, BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain has termed this entire allegation as baseless. They are dismissive from this point. Shahnawaz Hussain had filed a petition against this case in the Delhi High Court to end the case. This petition was dismissed by the Delhi High Court. After this he went to the Supreme Court.
