The police has intensified its action in the violence case that broke out in Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi on Friday. According to the information, the mastermind of this violence turned out to be Nawab Chishti, the administrator of the WhatsApp group. Nawab Chishti has been arrested by the police. Nawab Chishti has been accused of spreading violence in many places in the past. Nawab is also very active in politics. His picture has been seen with leaders of several parties.

Police investigation has revealed that the maximum number of messages were sent from the ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ WhatsApp group on the day of the violence. The youth were instigated by bluffing. The accused Nawab in the group had appealed to the people to join the protest. The police have also come to know that Nawab is the admin of this group. Earlier, Nawab has also been jailed twice for inciting violence.

29 arrested so far in Ranchi violence case
So far 29 people have been arrested in the Ranchi violence case. Earlier on Tuesday, six people were arrested. Ranchi Superintendent of Police Anshuman Kumar said that all the six arrested persons have been made accused in the case. These accused have been brought from different parts of Ranchi to Kotwali police station and interrogation is going on.

Ranchi Police on Tuesday shared the picture of the wanted of the violence that took place on June 10. Now the police have taken that picture back. Ranchi Police said in a fresh release, “It is informed to all media fraternity and public that the photo of wanted miscreants in the violent incident that took place in Ranchi on 10.06.2022 was released. But it is withdrawn for amendment. Earlier, Jharkhand Governor Ramesh Bais had directed the DGP to identify the perpetrators of violence in Ranchi and put up hoardings with their photographs and names and addresses at prominent places in the city.
