Giving parole to Dera Sacha Sauda chief Ram Rahim in Sirsa, Haryana has become a compulsion of the BJP. The reason for this is the assembly and Lok Sabha elections to be held next year. Ram Rahim has got parole for the fourth time in 14 months.

- In the year 2014, Ram Rahim openly supported BJP in Haryana. In these assembly elections, BJP got 47 out of 90 seats. The government was formed with full majority in the state.
- Ram Rahim was punished in 2017. This enraged the Dera lovers with the BJP. Its effect was seen in the election. The BJP was reduced to 40 seats. Sirsa and Fatehabad are the stronghold of lovers. BJP did not get a single seat in Sirsa. While Fatehabad got 2 seats. After which the government had to be formed with the support of JJP.
After the displeasure of Dera lovers, BJP was forced to form government in Haryana in 2019 with the support of JJP.

- BJP wants to get majority in Haryana Assembly through Ram Rahim. Wants to get back 2014 performance in next year’s election.
- In 2019, BJP won all 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana. Trying to do the same this time also. This will increase the dominance of BJP in Haryana. At the same time, the stature of Haryana’s organization and especially CM Manohar Lal Khattar will increase in the center.
- The most important aspect is Punjab. There BJP will contest alone this time. There are 13 Lok Sabha seats. Earlier BJP used to contest only on 3 seats. Punjab has a good number of Dera lovers. In such a situation, BJP can show its strength there through them.
