Raju Srivastav’s Wife Posts Unseen Singing Video Of The Late Comedian, Says ‘You’re Still With

New Delhi: A month after comedian Raju Srivastava’s death, his wife Shikha Srivastav has shared an unseen video of him singing a song.  Shikha took to Instagram and posted the video with an emotional note.

She wrote, “It’s been a month since you’re gone but we know you’re still with us and will continue to be… ❤️धड़कन का बंधन तो धड़कन से है
Naina is asking me where are you?
Be in memories, be in things, now only in dreams
Did not know that this song will turn into reality so soon (in just 12 days).
Didn’t know that only the heartbeat would deceive
Laughing at everyone, you will make us cry like this…… ️

The video shows the late comedian sitting on a bed inside a room and singing Kishore Kumar’s ‘Yaadon Main Woh Sapnon Main Hai’ from the 1977 film Swami.

Raju died on September 21 after battling for his life for one and a half months. The 58-year-old comedian was admitted to AIIMS following a heart attack while working out on August 10.

Raju came to Mumbai to join the entertainment industry in the 1980s but he rose to fame rose to fame with the first-of-its-kind stand-up comedy talent hunt show ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’, in 2005.

His stage characters of Gajodhar and Manodhar on ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ have been loved by everyone.

Raju appeared in many Hindi films such as ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, ‘Baazigar’, ‘Bombay to Goa’ (remake) and ‘Aamdani Atthani Kharcha Rupaiya’. He was one of the contestants on ‘Bigg Boss’ season three. He was the chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Film Development Council.

Raju Srivastava got married to Shikha Srivastava on May 17, 1983. They have two children – Aayushman Srivastava and Antara Srivastava. The couple had first met during his brother’s wedding in Fatehpur in 1982.
