On October 27, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot announced the five guarantees for the people of the state, which included laptops or tablets for government college students and English language education at government schools. While talking about his party’s five guarantees at a ‘Congress Guarantee Yatra’ meeting in Jaipur the Chief Minister said that his party has made a guarantee to offer English language education.

He further emphasised the importance of education and its role in shaping a brighter future for the students. As reported by ANI, CM Gehlot stated that it’s your money, and it’s being spent on you. “We have provided social security with this consideration, and people welcome it. We have made a guarantee to offer English language education,” he added.

The CM revealed that he was also opposed to the English language during his childhood, but it was a different era. He further elaborated that in the South, people were against Hindi, whereas in the North, people were against English.

“I now understand that it’s an international language and that it dominates the internet. If students learn it, they will have a bright future,” the CM said.

CM Gehlot announced the five guarantees for the people of the state, which included a law on Old Pension Scheme, buying cow dung, laptops or tablets for government college students and English language education at government schools, according to a PTI report.

At the ‘Congress Guarantee Yatra’ meeting, the Rajasthan Chief Minister also underscored the party’s commitments during a press conference in the state capital and stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party’s power is ED, but his power is guarantees.

Moreover, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, in discussing the party’s strategy for the upcoming elections, mentioned that party leaders would make efforts to enlighten the people of the state about the work accomplished during the five years of Congress government.

Elaborating further, Chief Minister Gehlot said that the party will establish 1,000 guarantee camps across Rajasthan, and they will also issue guarantee cards to approximately 2 crore people. He went on to say that his party’s plan is to reach people through door-to-door visits, using both offline and online methods, as well as missed calls to inform the public about our performance over the last five years.

Rajasthan will go to the polls on November 25. The voting for all 200 seats will be held in a single phase while the results will be announced along with four other states on December 3.
