Rahul Gandhi on Saturday held a 34-minute press conference at Turuvekre, Karnataka, after the completion of one month of the Bharat Jodo Yatra. During this, Rahul spoke on the internal politics of Congress from Savarkar, RSS and PFI.

On a question asked about the partition of India, Rahul said- Savarkar used to work for the British in the freedom struggle and he used to get money for it. The Congress MP said that the people of the country are troubled by corruption and the government is controlling the media to manage it.

Rahul further said- RSS had also supported the British Raj and today India Jodo Yatra is being taken out against their hatred.

Opposing Monopoly, not against Adani
After this, Rahul also spoke on the question of Adani Group investing in Rajasthan. He said- I am not against corporate. I am against monopoly. According to the process in Rajasthan, everything is correct there. The government has not used any power to benefit Adani there. If, ever, benefits will be given, I will be the first to protest.

Said on PFI ban – fight against communalism
On the question asked about the ban on PFI, Rahul said that we will fight every force that spreads hatred and communalism in India. No matter what community he comes from. Bharat Jodo Yatra is being taken out against hatred and violence.

Congress President will not run with remote control
Rahul further said that whoever will be the new president of Congress, it is an insult to call him remote controlled. Everyone is capable and there is no interference of Gandhi-Nehru family. Rahul also targeted Prime Minister Modi for not holding a press conference.

CM face in Karnataka will be decided after elections
Who will be the face of the party in next year’s elections in Karnataka? In response to this question, Rahul Gandhi said- According to the rules in the Congress, the CM will be decided only after the election and this process will be done smoothly at that time. Leader of Opposition in Karnataka Congress Siddaramaiah and Congress President DK Shivakumar are in the race for CM.
