Rahul Gandhi was addressing Congress workers at AICC in Delhi on Wednesday. Taking the name of Sachin Pilot in the presence of leaders from all over the country including Rajasthan in AICC is considered to be very important from the point of view of internal politics of Congress.
Pilot without post since July 2020
Sachin Pilot is working without post since July 2020. On 14 July 2020, Sachin Pilot was removed from the Deputy CM and Congress State President. Along with him, his supporters leaders and MLAs were removed from their posts. After reconciliation in August 2020 itself, a three-member committee was formed regarding the demands of the pilot camp.
On the basis of the demands of the Pilot camp, the Congress in a cabinet reshuffle in November gave place to his supporters in the cabinet. Pilot supporters also got a place in political appointments. Supporters got a place in power and organization, but Pilot himself is still only MLA and his role is yet to be decided.
