Often people used to listen to the tune of the police band on Independence Day, Republic Day and big government programs. The police band is played only on special occasions, but if now the Punjab Police band is seen playing in any wedding or other events, then it is strange somewhere.

The residents have been informed about this by issuing a circular on behalf of the Muktsar police. In which it has been said that Muktsar police band can be booked for domestic functions as well. According to the circular, any government or private person can get the police band booked.

According to the circular issued by the Muktsar Police, different rates have been fixed for the booking of the police band. Which is on an hourly basis. Where government employees will have to pay five thousand rupees for booking for one hour. The same private employees and common people will be charged seven thousand rupees for one hour. Similarly, Rs 2,500 will be charged from the government employee and Rs 3,500 from the public for every additional hour.

Police will take 80 rupees per kilometer
Apart from this, Rs 80 per kilometer will be charged from the booking person for traveling from the police line to the ceremony. For booking of Police Band, Police Control Room or Police Line can be contacted. Apart from this, a mobile number has also been given for band booking. Bands can be booked by contacting 80549-42100.
