On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, the Punjab government has given a gift to the teachers. UGC 7th Pay Commission has been implemented in all government colleges and universities of Punjab. This benefit will be available from 1 October 2022. CM Bhagwant Mann himself announced this.
He said that to meet the shortage of teachers in all the government colleges of Punjab, the recruitment of guest faculty teachers has been approved. The notification of which will be soon. Apart from this, a respectable increase has also been made in the honorarium of guest faculty teachers who have been teaching in colleges for 18 to 20 years.
