CM Bhagwant Mann will hold a meeting with farmer leaders today to discuss the sowing of paddy in Punjab. This meeting will be held at Punjab Bhawan, Chandigarh. The leaders of 23 farmer unions have been called in this. The important thing is that the Mann government has not invited Balbir Singh Rajewal, who contested the assembly elections, and his union. Rajewal and his allies have already been suspended from the United Kisan Morcha.

CM Mann will discuss with 23 farmer leaders about encouraging direct sowing of paddy. Through this, efforts will be made to reduce the need for water. At the same time, there will be a discussion about the sowing of paddy in different districts at different times. With this there will be no simultaneous power load and farmers will also get enough power for sowing.

Rajewal failed in election
The farmers organized a successful movement on the Delhi border in protest against the agricultural laws of the Center. After returning from there, 22 farmer unions under the leadership of Balbir Rajewal formed the United Samaj Morcha. After which he contested on 117 assembly seats. However, he could not win a single seat. Rajewal himself also lost badly from Samrala seat.
