CM Punjab Bhagwant Mann met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi today. They talked for 40 minutes. During this discussion was held regarding drones and drug smuggling coming from Pakistan. Along with this, there was a discussion on establishing better coordination between the central and state agencies to further strengthen the border security.

CM Mann told Home Minister Amit Shah about Pakistan giving protection to drug mafias. Along with this, discussions were held on the arrival of drugs and drones on the Indo-Pak border. Discussion on SSP of Punjab Cadre in Chandigarh
CM Bhagwant Mann also discussed with Home Minister Amit Shah on early appointment to the vacant post of SSP of Punjab cadre from year 2022 in Chandigarh. Apart from this, discussions were also held regarding the lands near the barbed wire on the international border.

Raised the issue of Rural Development Fund
CM Bhagwant Mann also placed before Amit Shah the issue of stalled Rural Development Fund. Punjab is not getting this fund for a long time. Maan demanded Shah to release this fund.
