Priyanka said – Congress will not bow down: Said – we will learn and fight with double strength, came to Lucknow for the first time after UP election results

Congress General Secretary and UP in-charge Priyanka Gandhi Vadra reached Lucknow on Wednesday. She is brainstorming on the reasons for the defeat in the assembly elections in the ‘Nav Sankalp Shivir’, which will be held from June 1 to 2 at the Lucknow office. He said that Congress is the party which will not bow down to BJP and will not back down. The Congress workers fought very strongly without getting discouraged. I am sure that in future we will learn and fight with double strength. That is our resolve.

Priyanka, who reached Lucknow for the first time after the results of the UP assembly elections, said that the amount of work we did, the hard work we did, we will have to do 100 times more. We are Congress people and we understand the situation in the country. We have to take our words to the public with double hard work.

All the outgoing office bearers of UP and senior Congress leaders were present in the camp. Prior to this, Priyanka had previously participated in a program organized in Lucknow on March 8.

Congress’s Chintan Shivir will run from June 1 to 2. In this the reasons for the defeat will be reviewed.

In the camp, discussions will also be held on increasing digital membership, municipal elections and changes in the organization. The idea will also be given to strengthen the party financially. The party has decided that 50 percent youth will be given responsibility in elections and organization. Women’s participation in social justice will also be considered.

In the Chintan Shivir, at the state headquarters, Priyanka will hold a meeting for two days with the national office bearers of UP, state office bearers, state presidents of all frontal organizations, candidates for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections and the candidates for the 2022 assembly elections. Priyanka Gandhi will share the findings of the camp with the state leaders. Apart from this, by forming small groups, they will discuss separately and take suggestions regarding strengthening the organization. After the resignation of Ajay Lallu, the new state president has not yet been appointed, so it is expected that Priyanka can discuss some possible names regarding the president.
