Meanwhile, sellers claim that prices have gone up due to low supply. The whole chicken was also sold at Tk 149 in the Kolkata wholesale market today.
What exactly is the situation? Chicken prices continue to rise. In mid-May, the price of cut chicken reaches 290 rupees. On June 11, however, the price was reduced to 220 rupees. This time it increased again. Prices have started rising again from June 18. Now the prices have gone up further.
Why the sudden rise in prices? So the supply is less. So the price of chicken and eggs has gone up due to low supply. On Friday, the price of eggs increased by 1 taka.
