Wrestlers protesting against former WFI president Brij Bhushan Singh had decided to throw their medals in the Ganges.

The committee says that the award winners should be made to sign on the form beforehand that they will not return their award in future.

This committee includes 21 members of the Lok Sabha and 10 members of the Rajya Sabha. Rajya Sabha MP and senior YSR Congress leader V Vijayasai Reddy is the chairman of this Standing Committee of Parliament attached to the Ministry of Culture.
