The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is predicted to win a consecutive seventh term in Gujarataccording to NDTV’s poll of exit polls. BJP is also predicted to win in the Himachal Assembly elections. The counting of votes will take place on December 8.

In a major upset, the Aam Aadmi Party is expected to win the Delhi civic body polls, BJP’s first defeat there after 15 years.

The electoral battle in Gujaratthe home state of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has turned more intense this time with the entry of the Aam Aadmi Party. According to NDTV’s poll of exit polls, the BJP is predicted to win 132 seats in the 182-member Gujarat assembly. Debutant AAP is predicted to win only 8 seats.

In Himachal Pradeshexit polls show that the BJP would win the most seats in the state, just like the last Assembly elections in 2017.

A poll of exit polls by NDTV today predicts a big win for the Aam Aadmi Party in the Delhi civic polls. The AAP is predicted to win 155 of the 250 wards in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, while the incumbent BJP is predicted to win 84.
