Today is the sixth Deepotsav in Ayodhya. PM Modi will attend the Deepotsav in the evening. Five diyas symbolizing the five elements will be lit. The Deepotsav will begin by lighting diyas made in the shape of a peacock. After this, 15 lakh diyas will be lit on Ram’s foot. On the other hand, if we talk about the whole of Ayodhya, a total of 50 lakh diyas will be lit including houses, temples, squares. The work of filling wicks and oil in the lamps has started at Saryu Ghats. CM Yogi has also reached Ayodhya to see the preparations.

The court of Ramlala has also been decorated. Lord Shri Ram, Bharat, Lakshmana, Shatrughna and Hanumanji are seated in a gold crown and pink clothes. These special clothes have been worn to Ramlala on Deepotsav. Ramlala and his brothers Bharata, Lakshmana and Shatrughna wear similar clothes, so similar clothes have been prepared for the four brothers.

Know what is happening for the first time in Deepotsav

  • PM Modi will also witness a new world record by joining the mega event of Deepotsav.
  • This time there is a preparation to set a new world record by lighting more than 15 lakh lamps. 17 lakh 50 thousand lamps have been purchased.
  • In 2021, 12 lakh diyas were lit in Ayodhya. Then 9 lakh lamps were lit on Ram’s foot and 3 lakh lamps were lit in the rest of Ayodhya.
  • This time 5 lakh more lamps will be lit on Deepotsav than last time.
  • The height of the projection mapping of the laser show in Deepotsav has been increased from 30 feet to 40 feet. The 26-minute laser show is based on 11 episodes from the Ramayana.
  • Fireworks have been increased from 12 minutes to 15 minutes. At the same time, the screen of the laser show has been increased to 337 feet. 2 screens have been installed additionally.
  • In the year 2021, laser shows were held at 32 ghats. This time the show will be shown at 37 ghats. All these tableaux have been prepared by 46 artisans from Lucknow and Delhi.
  • In the year 2021, the show was shown on the ghats only till 11 o’clock in the night. But, this time the audience will be able to watch the show till one o’clock in the night.
  • The jungles and scenes from the Ramayana era are being displayed digitally. Which is going to be a new experience for the audience.

Big projects to get from Ayodhya to UP
The Phase-3 of the drinking water scheme will be inaugurated by the Urban Development Department. Clean drinking water will be provided to the people of municipal corporation area through this scheme at a cost of 5456.62 lakh. Driving training institute will also be constructed. Rs 856.84 crore will be spent on this ambitious scheme of the Transport Department.

Will hand over Rani Ho Memorial Park worth 2192 lakhs

This time lamps will be lit at 40 ghats. Ajay Pratap Singh, nodal officer of Deepotsav said, “Last time lamps were lit at 32 ghats. This time, lamps will be lit at 40 ghats. Ram Darbar – Flags with Hanuman’s picture were made
PM Narendra Modi will be welcomed with saffron flag in Deepotsav. Thousands of flags have been made to welcome them. Ram Darbar and Hanuman’s picture have been made on these flags. These flags will be installed on both sides of the road on PM Modi’s route. Along with the Saryu Aarti, PM Modi will also witness the coronation of Ram.

Artisans have been called from Mathura and Sitapur
Special decoration of flowers has been done in Ram Janmabhoomi for Deepotsav. The decoration work has been done with indigenous and exotic flowers. Artisans from Mathura and Sitapur are working continuously. Balkrishna Saini, who took charge of the decoration work, told that these flowers have been brought from outside to decorate the Ramlala place. These flowers will be used for decoration of Ram temple, construction of gates with flowers and also in Rangolis.
