PM Modi to hold meeting over Covid-19 situation today

Amid fresh concerns caused by the Omicron variant of the coronavirus, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a meeting on the Covid-19 situation in the country on Thursday. Official sources said PM Modi will take stock of the pandemic situation across the country.

India has so far recorded 238 cases of the Omicron variant of the coronavirus across 15 state, according to the Union health ministry’s data. With 65 cases, Maharashtra tops the list of states with the maximum detected cases of Omicron. Delhi is second on the list with 57 reported cases, followed by 24 in Telangana, 23 in Gujarat, 22 in Rajasthan, and 19 in Karnataka.
