Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7 And Pixel Watch launched: Know Prices, Features And More

Google on Thursday (October 6) unveiled its latest Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones in India. Both the Pixel 7 series devices come with the company’s own second-generation Tensor G2 processor, which is a 4nm chipset. The smaller Pixel 7 comes with a 50MP dual rear camera setup and the pricier Pixel 7 Pro is equipped with a triple camera setup. The company has also launched its first smartwatch, the Google Pixel Watch with 24-hour battery life.

Both the Pixel 7 series phones have been launched in three colour options. The handset maker has also unveiled limited-time launch offers that also include a Rs 6,000 cashback on the Pixel 7 and Rs 8,500 cashback on the Pixel 7 Pro.

Google Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel 7 price in India, availability

The starting price of the Google Pixel 7 has been set at Rs 59,999. The device will be available in three colourways: Obsidian, Snow and Lemongrass colour options. The Pixel 7 Pro has been priced at Rs 84,999 in three colour options: Obsidian, Hazel and Snow, according to the tech giant. Both the Pixel 7 series phones will be available on e-commerce platform Flipkart on October 13.

Google Pixel 7 Pro specifications

As reported earlier, the Google Pixel 7 Pro runs the latest Android 13 OS and is powered by the same Tensor G2 SoC that powers the vanilla Pixel 7 model. The device sports 12GB of RAM. The Pixel 7 Pro sports a 50MP primary sensor coupled with a 12MP secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens and a 48MP telephoto lens. For selfies, there is a 10.8MP selfie camera. The display is a 6.7-inch Quad-HD (3,120 x 1,440 pixels) LTPO OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

The newly launched Google Pixel 7 Pro features up to 256GB of inbuilt storage. Connectivity options on the Pixel 7 pro are Wi-Fi 6E, 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC and a USB Type-C port for charging.

Like the Google Pixel 7 Pro, the Pixel 7 also runs the latest Android 13 OS and is powered by the same Tensor G2 SoC that powers the pricier Pixel 7 Pro model. There is a 6.32-inch full-HD+ (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) OLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. On the inside is a Tensor G2 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM.

In terms of imaging, the Google Pixel 7 comes with a dual rear camera setup led by a 50MP primary sensor and a 12MP secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens. The Google Pixel 7 also features a 10.8MP front-facing camera for selfies. Google has announced support for a new feature called “Cinematic Blur” that produces a dramatic blur when recording videos on the Pixel 7.

Google Pixel Watch price, specs and features

The Google Pixel Watch was also announced on Thursday alongside the Pixel 7 series and it is the first smartwatch launched by Google, which also owns fitness wearables major Fitbit. The Pixel Watch comes with a bezel-less circular dial. The display is AMOLED with up to 1,000 nits of brightness and an always-on mode. The watch has been priced at a starting cost of $349.99 (which is roughly Rs 28,700) for the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi-only model and the LTE model along with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi has been priced at $399.99 (which is roughly Rs 32,800).

The Pixel Watch is powered by an Exynos 9110 chipset and has 2GB of RAM. Connectivity options are Bluetooth v5.0, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, and 4G LTE wireless connectivity options.
