PRTC bus and pickup collided in Punjab’s Sangrur. Four people died in the accident, while 12 people were seriously injured. A three-month-old baby girl is also included in the injured. The pickup riders were returning after paying obeisance at the Kali Mata temple in Patiala.

The accident took place on the Sangrur-Patiala National Highway near Kalaudi bus stand in Sunam. The nearby people immediately took out the injured and took them to Civil Hospital Sangrur. Where the doctors referred Rajindra Hospital in view of the critical condition of 4 people.

Kali Mata was returning after visiting the temple
The injured said that he was returning after offering prayers at Shri Kali Devi Temple in Patiala. When the PRTC bus stopped at the bus stand to pick up the passengers, their pickup collided with the bus. After that there was chaos on the road. People took him out of the pickup and took him to the hospital with the help of an ambulance.

SDM arrived to know the condition of the injured
Sangrur’s SDM Navreet Kaur reached Civil Hospital Sangrur to inquire about the condition of the injured and reviewed the medical facilities. All the deceased are said to be residents of village Badhni Kalan, district Moga. The accident happened due to fog.
