The Delhi Police has taken the wrestlers into custody. During this there was a lot of tussle.

Wrestlers were detained while trying to march in front of the new Parliament at Delhi Jantar Mantar. These include Vinesh Phogat, Sakshi Malik, Sangeeta Phogat and Bajrang Punia. The strike is going on under his leadership.

Wrestlers are constantly demanding the arrest of BJP MP Brij Bhushan Singh, former president of the Wrestling Federation of India. Brij Bhushan has 2 cases registered for sexual exploitation of female wrestlers. On Sunday, the wrestlers had announced Mahila Mahapanchayat in front of the new Parliament House.

After which the police in Haryana also took many farmer leaders and women into custody. All of them were trying to go to Delhi.
