Philadelphia man says his French Bulldog was stolen at gunpoint: ‘It’s a home invasion’ – Henry Club

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) – A man in the Frankford section of Philadelphia says two men held him at gunpoint and stole his French bulldog “Chaos.”

Kevin Long fears his dog will never be seen again. He just bought “Chaos” last Saturday.

They say the crime happened on Wednesday during dinner.

“We heard a knock. I came and opened the door and said, ‘Hey how are you doing?’ He’s like, ‘I’m looking for Tamika.’ I’m like, ‘You have the wrong house,’” recalled a long time of his encounter with the suspects.

Long says he will soon learn that the suspects were not actually looking for Tamika but her dog.

“As I was telling him he had the wrong house, he pushed his way, and then another man came out of nowhere and with a gun in his hand… I heard him say, ‘This is a home invasion. .’ Then he said, ‘Where is the dog?’”

Long’s friend Al Stapleton was also present when it happened. He was in the kitchen.

“There’s a long hallway there, and when I walked into the living room the man was already there with a gun and a dog,” Stapleton said.

Both men say the suspects parted ways with the puppy. Long says he can’t stand another one.

“I will never get another chance at another French Bulldog in my life,” Long said.

He says Philadelphia police told him that popular dog breeds are being stolen frequently.

It’s not just in Philadelphia.

Its most high-profile case came to light in 2020. that happened when Pop singer Lady Gaga’s two French bulldogs were stolen And his dog walker was shot in California.

Long considers himself lucky he didn’t get hurt and hopes whoever did it will have a change of heart.

“I mean this is for an 11-year-old girl who’s going to have her heart broken,” Long said.

Long thinks that someone saw him walking “chaos” in the neighborhood and waits for the right moment to attack.

They filed a police report and it is being investigated, but as of Thursday, there is no word on any leads.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police at 215-686-TIPS.
