Popular Front of India’s (PFI) official Twitter account has been withheld in India “in response to a legal demand”. This comes after the Union government declared PFI and its associates, affiliates, or fronts as an unlawful association for 5 years.
Meanwhile, the PFI-affiliated Campus Front of India on Thursday called the ban on them undemocratic and anti-constitutional and said it will be challenged in court.
“CFI will be stopping all activities of the organisation in India with immediate effect… all allegations will be challenged in court,” CFI wrote in a tweet.
