People furious for driving SUV in Pangong lake: youths ran in the lake, liquor bottles were seen on the table, people said – action should be taken against them

And when it comes to Ladakh, it is actually one of the most favorite tourist destinations in the country, but some tourists taint its beauty with their irresponsible attitude. One such video is going viral on social media, in which three youths are seen driving their SUV in the water of Pangong Lake.

In the viral video, three youths can be seen driving an SUV into the lake, with two men hanging out of the car’s sun roof and shouting. A third tourist is seen driving the car and smiling. The video has been viewed nearly five lakh times.

The video has been shared by Jigmat Ladakhi. Sharing the video, Jigmat Ladakhi said, ‘I am again sharing another embarrassing video. Such irresponsible tourists are killing Ladakh. Do you know? There are more than 350 species of birds in Ladakh and lakes like Pangong are home to many bird species. Such an act can threaten the habitat of many bird species. He also posted a link to the Instagram page where the video was originally posted. The video has now been removed from that page.

Users expressed displeasure on social media
These three are trying to damage the beauty of Pangong Lake. Foldable chairs and a table are also seen in the video, on which liquor bottles, water and chips packets are scattered. Now there is a lot of displeasure among the people regarding this matter. Many users on social media have demanded the Ladakh administration to take strict action against these youths.

Terming it as utter nonsense, one user wrote, ‘Stupidity is at its peak’ Another user tagged Ladakh and Haryana Police and wrote, ‘These people should be banned from entering Ladakh.’ The Twitter handle of Haryana Police was tagged because the Audi SUV had Haryana’s registration number.
