Drone movement on the border in Punjab is continuously increasing. BSF has recovered two drones in two days. At the same time, on the basis of inputs received from the Punjab Police, heroin worth Rs 14 crore, hidden across the fencing from the Amritsar border, has also been recovered.

According to BSF, after an input, the search operation was carried out in Saidpura Kalan, a border village of Amritsar. Quadcopter DJI Matrice 300 RTK was recovered in a broken condition from the fields near the Gurudwara in the outskirts of village Saidpura at 7.20 am. This is the fourth drone recovered by BSF in the last 12 days.

Drone was also recovered in Tarn Taran
Last evening BSF also recovered a drone from Tarn Taran. BSF officials said that this drone was dropped on the night of 9 June. But couldn’t find it during the search. During patrolling, the jawans found this drone in a broken condition in the fields. This is also the quadcopter DJI Matrice 300 RTK, which Pakistani smugglers use to send heroin consignments to the Indian border.

2 kg heroin seized
BSF had seized a consignment of 2 kg heroin in the Attari area of ​​Amritsar late Saturday evening on the basis of inputs from the Punjab Police. Which was hidden by Pakistani smugglers in the fields in front of the fencing, so that Indian smugglers could steal it.
