‘Operation Lotus Fails In Delhi’: Arvind Kejriwal On Sisodia’s ‘BJP Offer’ Claim

New Delhi: As the investigation of the Delhi liquor scam progresses, the war of words between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is intensifying. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has claimed that BJP’s Operation Lotus in Delhi has failed.

CM Kejriwal wrote in his tweet on Monday that Operation Lotus failed in Delhi. After this, he retweeted Manish Sisodia’s tweet and wrote “It means that the CBI and ED raids have nothing to do with the liquor policy and corruption? These raids were carried out only to topple the AAP government in Delhi. Like they have done in other states.”

Earlier in the day, the Deputy CM of Delhi wrote that the message of BJP has come to me – break “AAP” and come to BJP, will get all CBI and ED cases closed. “My reply to the BJP — I am a descendant of Maharana Pratap and a Rajput. I am ready to get beheaded but can never bow down before conspirators and corrupt people. All the cases against me are false. Do whatever you want to do,” Sisodia said in a tweet in Hindi.

On Sunday, a Look Out Notice was issued by the Central Bureau of Investigation against eight accused in connection with the alleged violations in the implementation of liquor policy in Delhi which was introduced earlier this year but was later rolled back.
