The Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS) has released a notification for the recruitment of various principals and teacher vacancies in the State. According to the official notification, the OAVS application process will commence on April 1, 2024. Interested candidates will be able to apply for OAVS recruitment 2024 through the official website, oav.edu.in. The deadline for submitting the OAVS application form is April 30, 2024. Candidates can submit the OAVS recruitment application fees till May 2, 2024.
The OAVS recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 1,342 vacancies of teachers in various disciplines including PGT, TGT, Art Teacher, Computer Teacher, and others. Candidates will be selected based on their performance in a computer-based test (CBT) followed by an interview and document verification.
Age Limit:
– For the post of Principal: Candidates should be under 50 years of age and above 32 years.
– For all other posts except the post of Principal: Candidates should be under 38 years of age and above 21 years.
Candidates should ensure they meet the age criteria and prepare accordingly for the online examination as per the provided details.
Exam Details:
– The examination will be conducted online and divided into four parts.
– All questions will be in the Multiple Choice format, with a total of 180 questions, each carrying one mark.
– Candidates will be given 180 minutes (3 hours) to complete the test.
– There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
OAVS Recruitment 2024: Application Fees:
– Candidates belonging to the general or unreserved category: Rs 2,000.
– SC, ST, and PwD candidates: Rs 1,250.
– For teaching posts, general category candidates: Rs 1,500.
– SC, ST, and PwD candidates for teaching posts: Rs 1,000.
