An NRI couple forgot a bag containing jewelery worth Rs 1 crore in an Uber cab in Greater Noida. He informed about the matter at Bisrakh police station. Nikhilesh Kumar Sinha lives in London with his family. Recently he has come to India for his daughter’s marriage. On Wednesday, there was a function of his daughter’s mehndi at Sarovar Portico Hotel in Greater Noida. Nikhilesh booked an Uber cab from Gurugram to reach the hotel, but when he reached the hotel, he remembered that he had left the jewelery bag in the cab.

The NRI reported the matter to the Bisrakh police station. Police took the live location of the cab and traced the driver to Lalkuan in Ghaziabad. The driver told that after Nikhilesh he had completed many more rides and he had no idea about the jewelery bag.

Nikhilesh told the police that he had kept the bag in the trunk of the car. Then the police recovered the bag of Diggi jewelery from the vehicle. Police found the bag in just 4 hours and handed it over to the family. On this Nikhilesh and his family thanked the police.
