Nothing Phone (2a) Emerges In Benchmark Listing With Dimesity 7200

Just two weeks are remaining before the Nothing Phone (2a) hits the market. The device will be launched on March 5 and slowly Nothing has started sharing more details about the phone. Recently, the device appeared in an AnTuTu benchmark. As per the listing, it appears that the device is already in the final testing stages for the release. The benchmarks shed light on the device’s performance. However, this should not be compared to real-world performance and usage.

Nothing Phone (2a) Benchmarked With Dimensity 7200

The device was spotted alongside the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ and OnePlus Nord CE 3. Nothing Phone (2a) scored an impressive 738,164 combined AnTuTu 10 score. It achieved 236,788 points on the CPU test and 180,516 points on the GPU department. The listing also reveals a 137,288 score in the memory department and 183,572 points in the UX department. As per the most recent leaks, the Nothing Phone (2a) will hit the market with the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset.

According to a GizChina report, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ features the Dimensity 7200. Both devices achieve lower scores compared to the Nothing Phone (2a). Interestingly, Nothing’s latest phone competes in the same mid-range category in terms of specifications. Benchmarks alone might not be able to fully represent real-world performance but, they do offer an initial glimpse into the device’s raw capabilities.

The Nothing Phone (2a) boasts a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. Under the hood, it houses the MediaTek Dimensity 7200, available in 8GB/12GB configurations with 128GB/256GB storage options. In terms of camera capabilities, the device features a 50 MP ISOCELL S5KG9 primary shooter and a 50 MP ISOCELL JN1 ultrawide lens. Additionally, the Nothing Phone (2a) is anticipated to support 45W fast-charging and run on Android 14 with Nothing OS 2.5 overlaid.

Regarding pricing, the phone is set to commence at €349 for the base model with 8GB/128GB and €399 for the variant with 12GB/256GB.
