For the recruitment, it is mandatory for the candidates, both male and female to be bachelors.
Courses
The candidates are inducted as cadets in the four-year Bachelor In Technology course in different disciplines according to the requirements. They can be inducted as a cadet in the Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering branch and Mechanical Engineering. They can also be admitted to the discipline of Electronics and Communication Engineering. The students are conferred the BTech degree from the Jawaharlal Nehru University.
Educational Requirements
Candidates should have passed classes 10th, and 12th with at least 70 per cent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM). They should have cleared at least 50 per cent marks in English from any recognised institutes or boards. Along with this, the candidate must also appear for the JEE (Main) – 2023 examination (for Bachelor in Engineering/BTech). The recruitment in the Services Selection Board (SSB) will be done based on the JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) – 2023 published by the National Testing Agency.
Appointment Procedure
The candidates who have been shortlisted for the SSB interview will be informed about their selection via e-mail and SMS. A merit list will be prepared based on SSB marks. The candidates will be required to go through a medical examination. If declared fit, they will be required to undergo Police verification and character verification as well.
