Nidhhi Agerwal opens up about signing a no-dating clause during ‘Munna Michael’ that didn’t apply to Tiger Shroff – Times of India

Nidhhi Agerwal recently opened up about signing the no-dating clause in her contract during her debut film, ‘Munna Michael’ which incidentally, her co-star Tiger Shroff was not made to sign.

Spilling some beans on the same in a radio interview, Nidhhi revealed that although she did sign the no-dating clause in her contract, she just didn’t care at the time. According to her, she was so happy to have bagged her first film that she didn’t care about anything else.

Apparently, Tiger, who was the male lead in the film, was spared from this clause. Explaining why the clause didn’t apply to Tiger, producer Viki Rajani had said in an interview with a news portal in 2016 that Tiger is already a star while the film was Nidhhi’s launch film. According to him, she was a bright girl and they didn’t want her to get distracted. On being asked if it was sexist, he had added that she was not made to sign the contract ‘at gunpoint’.

Directed by Sabbir Khan, the film also starred Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a key role. The film received positive reviews from the audience and the critics alike.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Nidhhi is busy with her projects down south. Tiger, on the other hand, will next be seen in ‘Ganapath’ co-starring Kriti Sanon in the lead role.
