Nia Sharma has delivered a power-packed performance alongside choreographer partner Tarun Raj Nihalani in the latest episode of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. The duo was seen grooving to the tunes of the retro track, Khatooba. Taking a wild approach, the two were seen dressed as tribal people, while the classic song was mixed with background noises of wild animals. Now, Nia, on Instagram, gave us behind-the-scenes glimpses from her performance prep.
While talking about the rehearsals, the television actress revealed that the Khatooba performance was one of the most excruciating three minutes of her life. Fans have seen Nia Sharma’s dance performance multiple times, be it in daily soaps or award functions. But the actress claimed that she has never gasped so hard for air as she did for her latest Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa performance.

Nia Sharma wrote, “I have never gasped so hard for breath. The most excruciating 3 minutes Of my life and I’m glad mein Zinda hoon (I’m glad that I’m alive) after the Khatooba week. As they say ‘What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.’” While thanking her fans for the overwhelming response, she added, “P.S Loving the love guys! The appreciation is overwhelming I swear.” Meanwhile, she did not forget to laud her choreographer Tarun, who kept her motivated throughout the practice sessions until the delivery of the act. She continued, “Tarun I couldn’t have asked for a better partner I promise.”

As soon as the video caught the attention of her dance partner, Tarun, he couldn’t control himself from reciprocating Nia’s kind gesture. He took to the comment section to convey, “So so so Proud of you Nia! I’ve seen you pushing your limits even after failing more than 100 times, you have all my respect, Tum Sherni Ho (You’re a tiger).” Within just an hour the video has amassed over 80 thousand likes on the photo-sharing application.
Apart from Nia Sharma, many well-known faces from the TV world have participated in the show including Rubina Dilaik, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Amruta Khanvilkar, Faisal Shaikh, and many more. The judging panel of the show includes Nora Fatehi, Madhuri Dixit, and Karan Johar.
