Her portrayal of Debika Chatterjee in ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway,’ a character grappling with motherhood and abuse, struck a chord with both viewers and critics for its poignant delivery. The award was presented to her by none other than Karan Johar, who is not only a great friend to Rani Mukerji but also directed some of the most iconic films featuring her like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna.
