An interesting figure has emerged in the victory of Congress in Himachal elections. Congress may have won 40 seats here but their total votes are only 37,974 more than that of BJP. Not only this, the victory of CM Jairam Thakur alone is equal to the number of votes taken by the Congress from the BJP. Who defeated Chetram Thakur of INC by a huge margin of 37,007 votes.

It is clear from this figure that BJP could not repeat the mission in Himachal, but the vote percentage of BJP was good. This is considered a good sign for the BJP ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

On the other hand, it is no less than a challenge for the Congress. Before the Lok Sabha elections in 2024, the Congress will be under pressure to fulfill its election promises in Himachal.
