BBC Asian Network shared the clip on Instagram as part of a podcast called Breakfast Show with Nikita Kanda. The host of ‘This or That’ with Nick Jonas was asking the ‘National Jiju’ rapid-fire questions. “Cha or chai,” was the first question, and Jonas chose the latter. He was then asked to choose between Jalebi and Gulab Jamun. He paused for a moment before responding to Jalebi. The anchor then asked Nick Jonas to choose between two popular snacks: samosas and spring rolls. Jonas was unequivocal: he chose samosa without hesitation!

Nick Jonas’ question-and-answer video went viral on Instagram, with over 3.6 million views and 221k likes. In the comments section, hundreds of Indian users responded. Several people said Nick Jonas was a true Indian and a foodie if he enjoyed a good samosa.
