After becoming the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi will spend the night in his ‘second home’ Himachal Pradesh for the first time on Thursday. PM Modi, who reached Dharamsala to attend the conference of Chief Secretaries of all the states, will stay in the New Block of Dharamsala Circuit House at night.
Narendra Modi has been describing Himachal Pradesh as his second home. The PM himself mentioned this many times in his speeches. Narendra Modi is also attached to Himachal because while being the General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he was in-charge of Himachal for a long time and spent time in the state.

Kangri Dham will be served
In view of Modi’s night stay, special dishes are being prepared for him. Kangri Dham and Sepu Badi will be served to them on Thursday evening. The famous Madra, Khatta, Maash ki Dal, Chapati and Sepu Badi will be included in the dinner of the Prime Minister at Kangri Dham. After spending the night in Dharamsala, the Prime Minister will attend a conference of Chief Secretaries of all the states on Friday morning. It is being said that the road map of India for the year 2045 is being prepared in this conference. The Prime Minister will return to Delhi on Friday afternoon.
PM’s night stay for the first time in Dharamsala
This is the first time that in Himachal Pradesh, other than Shimla, a Prime Minister is doing a night-stay in any other area of the state. Former Prime Ministers Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Inder Kumar Gujral have done night stay in Shimla, but till now no prime minister has stayed at night in any other area of the state. Narendra Modi, who has a night stay in Dharamsala, is the first Prime Minister to stay outside Shimla in Himachal.
President Kovind had come to the Central University a week ago.
