Narco test will be done as soon as approval is given. The charge sheet of the Ankita Bhandari murder case will be presented in the court only after conducting the test.
On September 18, the murder accused had pushed Bhandari into the Chilla canal. Ankita’s body was found on 24 September.
Police wants to strengthen the evidence
According to reports, the police say that they want to strengthen the evidence against the three accused and get strict punishment. That’s why they have approached the court for permission to get the narco test done on all three. Significantly, 19-year-old receptionist Ankita Bhandari was murdered by the resort owner and two of his accomplices at the Vanantara resort in Rishikesh in Uttarakhand.
All the accused, including resort owner Pulkit Arya, were arrested within 24 hours after the case was handed over from the revenue police to the regular police force on September 22.
Accused Pulkit is the son of former Bharatiya Janata Party leader Vinod Arya. He was expelled from the party after his name surfaced in the murder case.
